- Supply and installation of Pre-Fabricated switchroom complete with fire detection equipment
- Carry out alterations and additions to the existing electrical installation
- Supply and installation of the electrical works associated with the upgrade to the plant equipment and machinery
- Hitech won the 2017 Master Electricians Australia National Excellence Award for an industrial/mining project for this particular project
- The QLD Mines Department inspector commented that work that was completed on this project is considered to be amongst the best seen in the mining and quarrying industry
Glass House Mountains - QLD
Hobart – TAS
Significant upgrade – crushing and screening plant
Turnkey electrical package – Approx value: $1M
- Design, installation, testing, commissioning of 1200A Main Distribution Centre/Motor Control Centre complete with Power Factor Correction equipment and remote operation of all circuit protection devices rated at or above 800A
- Supply and installation of Earth Leakage protection equipment
- Supply of Pre-Fabricated Switchrooms complete with fire suppression equipment
- Installation of earth grid system
- Installation of all electrical equipment and wiring and the associated control and safety systems for the crushing plant
- Supply and installation of three YASKAWA U1000 Matrix Drives on three downhill conveyors utilising the regenerative capabilities of the drives to return the regenerative power to the power grid. Hanson won an environmental innovation award for this project.
